Sweden's THYRFING have posted three sound clips from their follow-up to 2000's Urkraft CD, entitled Vansinnesvisor, which is due to be issued in April. The tracks in question are as follows:
Swedish Viking metal proponents Thyrfing have announced Vansinnesvisor (Tunes of Lunacy in English) as the title of their fourth full-length album not The Fourth Outrage as previously reported. The album was produced by Daniel Bergstrand (Meshuggah, Andromeda) at Dug-Out Studios, but the band's unhappiness with the final mix has forced Hammerheart to delay the record. Apparently, the second mix will be the end result.
So far only a handful of songs are known for Vansinnesvisor: "Kaos еterkomst" "Draugs harg" "Vansinnesvisan" "The Giant's Laughter" "Digerdцden" "Blodorn - The Fourth Outrage"
Thyrfing's Vansinnesvisor is now scheduled for a March 25, 2002 release on Hammerheart Records.
Thyrfing have solved to re-mixed their upcoming album in December. They did not felt that the mix did any justice to the supreme recording and material. Album release is scheduled around April.
Sweden's THYRFING will be entering Dug-Out Studios in Uppsala in the fall with producer Daniel Bergstrand (i.e. MESHUGGAH, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, DARKANE, STUCK MOJO) to record the follow-up to last year's Urkraft CD, tentatively entitled entitled The Fourth Outrage. Source: BLABBERMOUTH.NET
