Tampa Florida death-metalers Six Feet Under headed into Morrisound studios Friday, October 1st to start laying down tracks to their next full length follow-up to "Bringer of Blood". Right now the band is recording all the music and then Chris Barnes will head over to the Hit Factory to lay down the vocals. Once again Chris Barnes will be the producer and Chris Carroll will be handling engineering and mixing. As far as what this CD’s subject matter will be about, Chris Barnes says, “the material is dark and demented, and is not uplifting.” More information on the new album and studio updates from Chris Barnes will be made available in the coming weeks. |

Here's a little update from Chris Barnes himself: "Hey all you fuckin maniacs!!! Just wanted to check in with you to let ya know what's goin' on with SFU as of late. Hmmm let's see... been doin a lot of press the past month, including an interview and photo session for Revolver in which I carved up a freshly killed pig!!!! What'll they think of next... gettin ready for the release of 'Bringer Of Blood'... and it's about time; all this waiting is fuckin getting to me!! Wanna get out on the road and play this new shit and watch you all freak the fuck out!! We had a great time on tour in Europe last month... had a lot of fun at the With Full Force fest and Graspop - we have just booked a US tour that will kick off 2nd week in October. We will be heading up to Canada this time around; so all you north of the border will get a dose of the 6." The wait is finally coming to an end, for "Bringer Of Blood" will be released on Monday next week! Make sure you pick up the limited edition, which includes special packaging and a bonus DVD! |
