Floridian/Norwegian power metallers Kamelot have set Epica as the title of their forthcoming, sixth studio album. Epica is currently being recorded at Gate Studios in Wolfsburg, Germany with producers Sascha Paeth and Miro (Rhapsody, Angra).
"The new songs contain the Kamelot sound with an emphasis on a lyrical and musical concept that takes the listener through a journey around the world," stated an official press release. "Epica will prove to be another step in Kamelot's ascension to the top of the metal arena."
Kamelot's Epica is due out sometime in early 2002 (January, February) through Noise/Sanctuary Records. Stay tuned for more information on Kamelot.
KAMELOT's next album is currently going by the working title Karma. Songs that have been completed so far include: 'Forever', 'Once And Future King', 'Karma', 'Across The Highlands', 'Fate' and the Elizabeth Trilogy - 'Mirror Mirror', 'Requiem For The Innocent' and 'Fall From Grace.'
