Emperor's new album "Prometheus: The Discipline of Fire & Demise" is now completed and is confirmed for worldwide release in October via Candlelight Records. Tracklist: 1. "The Eruption", 2. "Depraved", 3. "Empty", 4. "The Prophet", 5. "The Tongue of Fire", 6. "In the Wordless Chamber", 7. "Grey", 8. "He Who Sought the Fire", 9. "Thorns on my Grave". The album will be released on CD, LP and Picture Disc format.

EMPEROR is still working with new album "Prometheus - The Discipline Of Fire & Demise". Confirmed tracks are: The Eruption, Depraved, The Tongue Of Fire, The Prophet and Thorns On My Grave. The drum tracks are finished and the band is currently working on the layers at the Symphonique Studio. The album will most likely be mixed in May at Akkerhaugen Lydstudio, aiming for a fall release. Ihsahn has quoted the album to be "More of everything! It is very hard to make any specific description really."

Norway’s BLOOD RED THRONE, featuring former EMPEROR / SATYRICON / EINHERJER bassist-turned-guitarist Tchort, are due to enter Dub Studios in Kristiansand, Norway today, April 2nd, to begin recording their debut album, Monument Of Death, for Hammerheart / The Plague Records. Mixing and mastering will be done by Henrik Larsson at Berno Studio in Sweden (THE HAUNTED, VOMITORY). Songs being recorded are:
