I guess, “destroyer of former reputation” might have turned out to be a better title. I was quite sure this CD won’t be a milestone, however nor was I thinking it would be such a miserable failure! It’s incredibly sad to say, however I wish Quorthon quitted playing music right after “Blood On Ice” was made available worldwide. “Destroyer Of Worlds” starts with “Lake Of Fire”, pseudo-viking theme… executed in a way below horrible. The title song is basically the same, although a bit – only a bit! – more comprehensible. Other tracks off “Destroyer Of Worlds” vary from viking-punk to thrash-punk; this sort of garbage, you see. As if “Requiem” and “Blood On Ice” both were ABSOLUTELY worthless efforts and mixed into one… well, perhaps it would sound like this. Much more than just a disappointment… >:-(
