The End Records is very proud to announce we will be releasing the new album by the Norwegian band ARCTURUS entitled, "The Sham Mirrors" for North America. ARCTURUS which consists of ultra talented musicians including Garm (Ulver, Borknagar, etc.) and Hellhammer (Mayhem, Winds, Kovenant, etc.) among others, is considered as one of the pioneer bands of the avant-garde metal and have released exceptional albums in their career, including the groundbreaking "Aspera Hiems Symfonia", "La Masquerade Infernale", and more recently the "Disguised Masters" (which consisted of mostly remixed songs).

The first release by this new band is tentatively scheduled for release in early 2001, it will be a MCD already titled 'Of Entity and Mind' featuring 5 outstanding tracks in the vein of the late Arcturus...clear vocals, progressive touches, melodic guitar parts and floating synth. Featuring the legendary drumming of Hellhammer and the guitar virtuosism of Carl August Tidemann (Arcturus, Tritonus), as well as Lars Eric Si (Jack in the Box, Sensa Anima) on vocals plus Andy Winter as additional vocalist, Paul S. and K. Haugen.
