The Herald Sun reports that casting has begun for the AC/DC road movie "Thunderstruck". The most prominent actor to be cast is Stephen Curry ("The Castle"). Newcomer Jason Gann, star of the short film "Wilfred", has also won a part. The film is about five friends who make a pact during AC/DC's Australian Tour in 1991 that the first of them to die will be buried in the grave next to their idol, late AC/DC frontman Bon Scott.
Helen of Troy, an action-filled love story/musical based on Greek mythology that features brand new material composed by AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson, is scheduled to premier at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota, Florida during the week of March 20-25, 2003.
As previously reported, Johnson is working with British composer Brendan Healy and Sarasota Ballet Artistic Director Robert de Warren on the $1.2 million production, for which Brian has reportedly written 14 songs. After a nine-show run, Helen of Troy will tour Florida, with tentative plans for a national tour a short time later.
