Moscow's all-female dramatic symphonic metal band BLACKTHORN have finished work on their as yet untitled second album, which is currently in the mixing stage at Studio KIV Records.
The band promises their new album will be more extreme and symphonic sounding, compared with their debut, "Araneum", released in 2009 via MUSICA Production.
In live news, BLACKTHORN will take the stage at the Metal Crowd Festival on August 13th in the Belarussian town of Rechitsa.

"We will record all new songs for our debut album", - said The Phantom, leader of the band. "Tracks from our recent split with BIZARREKULT will not appear on a new CD. We will record both fast and groove songs for this album, but don't afraid, there will be old school black-metal on this CD".
